“There is nothing to writing. All you do is sit down at a typewriter and bleed. ”
Winter Writing Circle - turn your words into wisdom
We often write in private,
for nobody else to witness…
but what if being witnessed
is the very thing that’s been missing?
This is an invitation into a different kind of writing space:
one where your words are not refined or corrected,
but received, felt, and witnessed.
Your words are meaningful.
They deserve to be heard.
Not edited into something else,
but witnessed exactly as they are.
In this circle we listen, to ourselves and to one another.
Because when we witness another person sharing their truth, something shifts within us.
We are moved.
We are changed.
There is magic in being seen and heard without needing to perform.
If you’re longing for that kind of space, you’re in the right place.
This circle is a good fit if you:
feel drawn to writing, but often overthink it
long for deeper self-expression
want to feel more connected to your inner world
are curious about being witnessed in a gentle, non-judgmental space
enjoy women’s circles and feel drawn to try this style
want to explore your creativity
If you’re unsure, but something in you feels curious, trust your inner voice.
What happens in the circle:
This is NOT about being “good” at writing.
It’s about letting your words flow up and out of you, honestly, imperfectly, freely.
Through gentle prompts and a shared writing space, you’ll be invited to:
connect with your own inner voice
write without self-editing or judgement
witness and be witnessed in a supportive space
We are all creative alchemists. Your words and experiences carry wisdom.
This is about letting that wisdom come to the surface.
You don’t need to prepare anything at all, just arrive as you are.
This Circle is not for:
writing as performance
aiming for perfection, polishing, or producing something to be judged
creating a finished product
This space is about writing for ourselves.
For creativity.
For freedom.
For pleasure.
For expression.
For healing.
It is not about being understood by everyone else. It is not about editing your words into something more acceptable.
What comes through here gets to be raw, real, and beautiful in its truth.
